EXPERIENCE:
Called to preach at the age of 22. Before coming to Japan I have worked as a Phone Counselor, Awana Chaplain, Homeless Shelter Counselor, Sunday school teacher, Children's Ministry Director, and Nursing Home Ministry Director. I have taught the bible for over twenty years and have preached in the Caribbean, Canada and over a dozen states before coming to Japan. I have preached in a Bible college, a seminary and mission conferences. I am delighted that God has given me this opportunity to teach His word in Japan. My experience is with working with churches as small as thirty and as large as three thousand people.
We want to be true to THE BIBLICAL CALL
Jesus' essential call was to plant churches. Virtually all the great evangelistic challenges of the New Testament are basically calls to plant churches, not simply to share the faith. The 'Great Commission' is a call for Christians to plant churches. Grace Community Bible Church Utsunomiya is a church plant.
